The 5 Human Design Types

Generator types (Generators and Manifesting Generators) make up about 70% of the population and are the builders of the world.

1 Generators (Alchemists) They have a strong life force and the capacity to do sustained work. Their strategy is to respond to life’s situations rather than initiate. They find satisfaction in their work by waiting for something to happen that they can respond to.

2 Manifesting Generators (Time Benders) are a hybrid of Manifestors and Generators, with qualities of both. They are capable of initiating action like Manifestors but also have the sustainable energy of Generators. Their strategy involves responding, then initiating, to make sure they’re on the right track before commiting their energy.

3 Manifestors (Initiators) About 9% of the population. They are initiators who have the unique ability to act independently and initiate change. Their strategy is to inform others before taking action to avoid resistance and have smoother interactions. They are the leaders of the old world.

4 Projectors (Orchestrators) About 20% of the population and are the guides of the world. They have the ability to see deeply into others and are meant to guide others. Their strategy is to wait for an invitation in the major areas of life so that their wisdom is recognized and valued. They are the guides/leaders of the new world.

5 Reflectors (Calibrators) Only about 1% of the population. They are rare! They are the mirrors of society, reflecting the health of their community. Their strategy is to wait a lunar cycle (around 29 days) before making major decisions, giving them more perspective for clarity.

Each type has a unique role and strategy for coursing through life, with an emphasis on self-awareness and realization to interact harmoniously with the world and fulfill one’s purpose.
