How to help your skin

SKIN

The skin is the body’s largest organ and serves as a backup drainage pathway when other emunctory organs, like the liver and kidneys, are overburdened. The skin helps eliminate excess waste, toxins, and metabolic byproducts that the body needs to get rid of through sweat. When other elimination pathways are stagnant, the skin often takes on a greater load, leading to skin-related issues.

Signs of Stagnant Skin Drainage

Eczema & Psoriasis – Inflammatory skin conditions linked to poor detoxification.

Acne & Breakouts – A sign that the body is pushing out toxins through the skin.

Rashes & Itching – Indicate irritation from internal imbalances.

Lack of Sweating – A sluggish lymphatic system and poor circulation.

How to Support Skin Elimination

Lymphatic Drainage – Dry brushing, rebounding, and massage.
Sweating – Regular exercise, sauna use, and hot baths.

Hydration – Proper water intake supports skin’s ability to release toxins.

SKIN ELIMINATION DETAILS

1. Dry Skin Brushing

Before showering, use a natural‐bristle brush; start at the feet and sweep toward the heart with light, brisk strokes (2 min total).

Stimulates lymph flow, sloughs off dead cells, primes pores for sweat release.

2. Rebounding

Bounce gently on a mini‐trampoline for 3–5 minutes, 1–2 times daily.

Rhythmic up‐and‐down motion pumps lymphatics and boosts micro‐circulation to the dermis.

3. Self Massage

Apply light oil; sweep hands or a gua sha tool from ankles toward groin, wrists toward armpits, neck toward collarbone—5 passes per zone

Manually directs stagnant lymph and helps clear intracellular waste that can surface as rashes or acne.

4. Sauna Use

15–20 min in an infrared or traditional sauna, 2–3 times a week; hydrate with electrolytes before & after. Infrared sauna: 50 – 65 °C (120 –

150 °F). Traditional (dry or steam): 70 – 90 °C (160 – 195 °F)
Induces a deep sweat that off‐loads heavy metals, BPA, and other fat‐stored toxins through the skin.

Root cause of Skin Issues from Gut & Kidney Dysfunction

A clogged gut and sluggish kidneys frequently force the skin to compensate, leading to breakouts and irritation. Supporting these organs first and skin clarity and function will improve.

Daily practices:

-Dry Brushing: Dry brush before showers to stimulate lymphatic flow.

-Hydration: Hydrate with electrolyte-rich water for better sweating.

-Sweat: Use infrared saunas/warm baths/exercise to promote sweat.

-Food: Eat zinc, vitamin A, and omega-3s for skin repair. Walnuts, flax, orange and yellow foods, leafy greens like spinach, kale, broccoli.

-Use natural products: Avoid synthetic/chemical skincare.
