How to make homemade hummus

Equipment:

Food processor or high speed blender

Measuring spoon

Measuring cup

Citrus squeezer (or you can just use your hand!)

Ingredients:

1.5 cups of cooked garbanzo beans

1 garlic clove

1/2 teaspoon of cumin

1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

4 tablespoons of tahini

1/4 cup of lemons

4 tablespoons of ice cold water or two-four ice cubes

Directions:

Blend everything together in a food processor or high speed blender. The ice water/ice cubes will help to get the thick, creamy texture. Enjoy!

Add any additional spices, herbs, or peppers to change up the flavor: 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika, chili powder, parsley, cilantro, jalapeños etc.
